Winter Winds | BFF Sunday

Photoshoot/coffee date in downtown Olympia with my best friend! It was incredibly cold, but the weather was absolutely perfect for photos and coffee and a walk around the lake.

It was a pleasure working with her and her wonderful host mother who came along. Her smile is absolutely stunning, even in the freezing fall weather!

Autumn in Olympia has usually been rainy and stormy and there are very little opportunities for fall photoshoots with the colors of the leaves, however this year it has been absolutely beautiful! The sun has been out for every photo session but one, and the colors of all of the trees are incredible.
Mikayla and I went to Priest Point park in hope of capturing some of those fall colors in her senior portraits. I love the way these all turned out! Such a beautiful girl – every photo of her is perfect!

My photoshoot with Alex was the first of all my shoots to take place in the rain, and I'm happy to say it was a blast and a success! Her hair started to curl towards the end and I was completely soaked from head to toe, but these pictures were worth it.
I'm excited to take more rainy day photos in the future!

I think it's safe to say that my first group senior photoshoot was a success! These three best friends were a joy to capture in all of their inside jokes and fun moments. I'm really pleased with the way the photos turned out!

Capitol Lakefair Fireworks

The last night of Olympia's Lakefair was last night, celebrated with a huge fireworks show over Capitol Lake with the moon shining bright.

It was a beautiful night spent with my best friend, Lydia, and other amazing people.

So far my summer has consisted of beautiful sunsets and walking around downtown, girls nights out, and going wheeling.
It's finally starting to get hot and sunny so hopefully I will be tan! (and keep it)
